Have you ever wanted to travel to the stars? Journey through the cosmos with a trip to the UWEC Planetarium!
The L.E. Phillips planetarium uses a starball projector to create a shockingly beautiful and dynamic illusion of the night sky in a dark dome. See a realistic depiction of the night sky and also see the sky move and change to show the passage of time. Shows start with an introduction about the planetarium itself, some common constellations, and special things in the sky that night. Then the show focuses on a broad theme in astronomy. You will have lots of opportunities to ask questions!
