High School Social Studies Teacher (Full-time)
As a growing school, the Rural Virtual Academy is currently seeking a high school social studies teacher to begin effective July 1, 2026. Applicants are expected to have the ability to teach live instruction classes to students online, maintain a remote office with a high-speed internet connection, and occasionally travel. Preference will be given to those candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, and a Wisconsin teaching license for ages 10-21 in the area of broadfield social studies.

Occupational Therapist (Full-time)
The Rural Virtual Academy is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to begin no later than July 1, 2026. Applicants are expected to have the ability to meet with parents and students during the day and evenings, meet with students online to instruct and facilitate daily instruction, be knowledgeable and fluent in virtual platforms delivering secure therapy and assessments to school age children, be organized and motivated, have strong communication skills, have knowledge of special education laws and practices concerning occupational therapy, maintain a remote office with high speed internet connection, and occasionally travel. Preference will be given to candidates holding a master's degree and a valid Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license, as well as those with previous experience in virtual teletherapy.

Special Education Teacher
As a growing school, the Rural Virtual Academy is currently seeking a special education teacher to begin next school year, effective July 1, 2026. Applicants are expected to meet with students online to instruct and facilitate daily instruction, maintain a remote office with a high-speed internet connection, and occasionally travel. Preference will be given to those candidates holding a Wisconsin teaching license in cross-categorical special education in a variety of grade levels.

IT Technology Support Specialist
The Rural Virtual Academy is a growing school looking to fill an IT Technology Support Specialist (Level 1) position in the Rothschild Learning Center.
Starting wage based on experience and qualifications.
Year-round employment
40 hours per week guaranteed
Flexible start date
No mandatory overtime or weekends

Duties include, but are not limited to, providing basic technology troubleshooting, setting up AV, assisting in maintaining technology inventories, communicating with staff, students, and parents, and all other duties as assigned.
Applicant Requirements:
Applicant must be a high school graduate, be able to organize, coordinate, schedule, and perform all office functions as assigned. Preference will be given to those holding an Associate’s Degree or higher in Information Technology (IT).
