Come join the RVA to explore some extraordinary opportunities to be of service in our communities. In this session, we will explore two community resources that help the elderly and those with disabilities: ADRCs and Katy's Kloset.
Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) are located in each community throughout Wisconsin and provide meals on site or through home delivery to elderly community members. Find out about ways you can support this program and brighten someone's day by delivering meals, decorating bags and making cards.
Katy's Kloset is the second community resource we will explore and one that is quite unique. Katy's Kloset is a medical equipment lending library that is run by volunteers and lends medical equipment and supplies to thousands of individuals each year at no cost. Learn about how you can support this program by donating medical equipment and supplies or volunteering at their summer camp.
Looking forward to exploring these opportunities with you and making the world a better place through our actions and service to others!
Bonus: This learning seminar will count as one hour towards your community service hours.
