Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin Preservation Presents: "What's Organic about Architecture?"-Virtual

  • Rural Virtual Academy United States (map)

We are all familiar with the term organic when visiting the supermarket, but what does it have to do with architecture? In this interactive program, we will explore the principles of organic architecture. Come join us for a special presentation streaming live from Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin! Caroline Hamblen, Director of Programs at the Frank Lloyd Wright Estate, will explore with us the principles of Organic Architecture as embedded in Wright's home Taliesin. Gain an understanding of how organic architecture works as an integrated system of nature, humans and the built environment. Discover why organic was so important to Frank Lloyd Wright and how it matters today. Take organic principles into your home and neighborhood. Look forward to seeing you then!
