Come join the RVA to learn about opportunities to serve the elderly in your community. Natashia Lashua, Activities Director at Mountain Terrace Senior Living in Wausau, will share with us a variety of fun ways to volunteer at long-term care facilities and enrich the lives of others.
Have a special talent such as music or dance? Share it and practice for your next big event. Been somewhere great on vacation? Tell others about it. Want to be an interior designer, come decorate the facilities for the holidays. Love to do crafts? Come and do a craft with the residents. Want to learn something new? Come talk to the residents as many are vets or world travelers. Tech Savvy? Come show a great movie. Have an idea? Share it. The opportunities are endless!
