Jeff and Jenny Kozlowski first got their "big cats" the wrong way--to make money, but soon they found the business of "show ponying" them to be stressful on these felines. After doing research, they found that many big cats were euthanized after being turned out from circuses, zoos, and private owners. They began their big cat rescue education center to save these beautiful creatures from being put to sleep as well as raise awareness about them. Today, they have 22 big cats, mainly tigers, but they also have 1 lion, 1 leopard and a few baby lions. THERE IS NO PETTING OR CONTACT ALLOWED. *TOUR 1 Feeding Tour 9:45 am (1.5 hour tour) This feeding tour will take you behind the scenes to experience the purest of animal instinct and rage of the big cats! Feel the true power and ferociousness behind the scenes in a true feeding frenzy. Also along the tour, learn the story of each cat and how they came to the rescue. You will be walking in grassy areas where morning dew can dampen shoes and socks so please come prepared. *********If there is rain the morning of the tour, we will either cancel or reschedule as their timings permit. *TOUR 2 11:30 am (1 hour tour) Come and learn the amazing story behind each one of these majestic cats directly from the people who have been here since the start. You'll meet each cat and see the special bond they have with the founders.
We would like to keep the feeding tour for the immediate family members of the RVA student and we are also asking you to strive to have a ratio of 2 children per 1 adult in your RSVP.
