Mentor Series: Stages of Executive Functioning and Social Emotional Development

  • Rural Virtual Academy-ZOOM United States (map)

Please join us as RVA teachers, Amanda Kletti and Jessica Murphy, unpack the stages of executive function development. Using the Wisconsin state social emotional standards and an executive functioning developmental framework, our presentors will delineate between the different grade levels/developmental levels and what should be expected in the areas of executive functioning and social emotional skills.

This presentation will be developed for both staff and home mentors to deepen understanding of these skill areas; where they are similar and different. It will also include activities teachers and home mentors can include in their schooling that are appropriate for the child’s developmental levels.
