Come join the RVA for a 1 hour train ride through the beautiful fall colored countryside, while sitting in a restored vintage passenger car! Following the train ride you may want to spend time at the museum which includes an optional self guided tour and historic train cars! RVA will cover the cost of your train ticket and the museum. The train ride will be from 1-2 pm. Be prepared to arrive early for boarding. Following the ride you will be able to visit the museum and historic train cars, you may want to set aside 45 minutes to an hour. Food is not allowed on the train, water is allowed. There is a picnic shelter near the museum, if you would like to bring snacks or a lunch for before or after the train ride. Bathrooms are available at the museum, there are no bathrooms on the train (one porta potty is available at the turnaround point). RSVP by September 23. Note that this is a ticketed event, please update your RSVP if there are any changes.
