Step back in time to Pioneer Farm life! Through an interactive game, participants will explore how settlers lived 150 years ago! Participants will follow the experiences of a pioneer family including when they arrived in Monroe County, WI, to buying land, establishing and growing a farm, and passing the farm to the next generation. Participants will learn about the events and experiences that helped or hurt a pioneer family’s efforts for survival. Please note: participants will need to print off a one page sheet prior to the program. This program is geared toward grades 3-8 but everyone is welcome. Participants needing assistance reading will need someone with them to help identify particular “bingo” spots on the sheet.
