Come join the RVA to tour the Highground with a knowledgeable tour guide discovering the history and unexpected stories about The Highground Veterans Memorial Park, the Tributes, and Veteran's military service. The content will be more geared towards Middle School students but all students and families are welcome! There will be Fun & Education exhibits and presentations along the tour, including the cultures involved in WWII, Korean War, Vietnam War, Iraq & Afghanistan, Women in the Military, the Liberty Bell, stories from military working dog handlers & more! A Flag Retirement Ceremony will be held after Lunch Break. Students should bring their own sack lunch. Please dress appropriately for the weather as we will be outside.
