This event is a unique opportunity to learn about Suriname first-hand from RVA's very own student, Carver Dunn. Carver has been living in Suriname for over a year with his family and has been fully immersed in the culture and the tropical landscape that we all long for during these cold winter days. Carver is passionate about science and his presentation will highlight what he has learned about the rainforest. From sloths, to sustainable forestry, and Howler monkeys, Carver will teach us about the Amazon Rain-forest and the challenges to protect it.
